About

I initially created this blog because I wanted to document an upcoming post-graduation backpacking trip through Europe, with the hopes that it would become an artsy travel and food photography blog. But alas, life happens and there are a ton of other things to share and write about. So that's how this blog became a way for me to record a new stage in my life, specifically the transition from grad school into the working world, including that healthy bit of (f)unemployment in between.

While I used to predominantly only write about serious musings on my Tumblr, I have decided that this blog will include all the things pertaining to life, but will still center my posts around a few common themes:
  • New lessons: about life, myself, the gospel, ministry, engineering, crafts, art, etc.
  • Trying new things: hobbies, classes, gadgets, food, sports, recipes, etc.
  • Taking more risks and challenging myself to go out of my comfort zone by delving into new and unfamiliar environments.
  • Seeing and appreciating more of God's grand creation, mostly through traveling, but also through revisiting familiar locations and seeing them in a new light.
This is all possible only by the grace of God, the creator and sustainer of life, who has sent His son, Jesus Christ, to rescue the souls of men through his death and resurrection.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen
